Trancoso is preparing to host the 11th edition of the Music in Trancoso Festival, from March 19 to 22, 2025. This event, which mixes classical and popular music, is the perfect opportunity to enjoy days of culture and sophistication in one of Brazil’s most exclusive destinations.
An unmissable program
This year’s festival features the Bahia Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Carlos Prazeres, in a series of themed concerts.
March 19: Opening with “Gregorianas”, a tribute to Gregório de Matos in front of the Quadrado Church. (free)
March 20: “OSBREGA – Love Concert” at the L’Occitane Theater.
March 21: “Entre Valsas e Sonhos” (Between Waltzes and Dreams) – Harmonica and Orchestra Concert, with works by Villa-Lobos.
March 22: Closing with “Baile Concerto – 40 years of Axé Music”, with special appearances by Luiz Caldas and Gerônimo.
The concerts at the L’Occitane Theater will start at 19:30, with the gates opening at 18:003. Get your tickets in advance so you don’t miss out.
